Rescuing the Tieflings in Act 1
To trigger the quest “Rescue The Tieflings” in Act 2, players must have safeguarded the Tieflings during the Grove events in Act 1.
In Act 1, the Tieflings faced peril from Druids and Goblins. Players had the choice to save them, ally with Minthara to eliminate them, or let the Druids have their way. Rescuing the Tieflings in Act 1 paves the way for this subsequent quest in Act 2.
Initiating the ‘Rescue The Tieflings’ Quest
To embark on this quest, head to Act 2 and visit the Last Light Inn. Here, players will encounter familiar and new faces, including some of the rescued Tieflings from Act 1. Look for Alfira inside the Inn.
Alfira will express gratitude for the player's safety and share concerning news about other captured Tieflings taken to Moonrise.
Alfira implores the player to undertake the rescue mission at Moonrise Tower, located deep within the Shadow Cursed Land, necessitating preparations like acquiring a Pixie.
Locating Moonrise Tower
The captured Tieflings are held at Moonrise Towers, a perilous location towards the southern end of the map, southwest of the Last Light Inn. Finding this tower marks the initial phase of the rescue mission.
Upon reaching Moonrise Tower, a nearby waypoint awaits. Inside, encounters with Zealot Malik and Adept Merim occur, cautioning against aggression to prevent hostilities.
Navigating Through Moonrise Tower
Once inside Moonrise Tower, locating the prisons housing the Tieflings becomes imperative. Initial interactions with Ketheric Thorm and Disciple Z’rell should be handled diplomatically.
Progressing through the tower involves confronting challenges like dealing with disobedient Goblins and identifying the path to the Moonrise Prisons. Alternative routes, such as the docks behind Moonrise, offer access to the prisons.
