A fresh update, Hotfix 25, has just been rolled out by Larian Studios for the beloved game Baldur's Gate 3. This latest patch aims to address specific concerns plaguing players while they eagerly await the arrival of Patch 6.

Since its official launch in August 2023, Baldur's Gate 3 has garnered widespread acclaim, securing numerous Game of the Year titles and amassing over $90 million in revenue for Hasbro, the owner of the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, by February 2024. The game's popularity remains strong, with close to 600,000 active players daily, even months after its release.

Hotfix 25 follows closely on the heels of its predecessor, Hotfix 24, featuring a similar number of fixes but with a focus on preventing rare crashes triggered by trading, interacting with enemies, or loading Act 1. Notably, this update also resolves an issue related to the persistence of the pet Us post-tutorial, which was obstructing players from taking short rests.

While fans appreciate Larian's commitment to enhancing Baldur's Gate 3, these updates may pose challenges for mod users. Earlier this year, the studio announced plans for mod support, following some tense interactions with the fan community.
