Despite consistent updates, the Xbox edition of Baldur's Gate 3 lagged behind PC and PS5 versions. Following Hotfixes 20 and 21, the Xbox Series X/S versions underwent extra testing by Larian Studios due to numerous crash fixes. Now, with Hotfix 22 live, all platforms enjoy parity for Baldur's Gate 3.

Larian Studios shared hotfix details on social media, expressing gratitude to the Xbox community for patience during crash testing. Alongside these updates, improvements from Hotfixes 20 and 21, including fixes for companion Minthara, are fully integrated. Notably, Hotfix 22 rectifies a legacy dialogue flaw inadvertently enabled by previous changes, unveiling fresh in-game choices.
