Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has recently unveiled an update that introduces a specialized 40 FPS mode for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S players. The game, renowned for its breathtaking first-person visuals, places gamers in the Na'vi world, empowering them to evade and combat the RDA forces.

The game initially offered five graphics settings, including Ultra Performance, Performance, Balanced, Quality, and Ultra Quality, catering to various player preferences. The 30 FPS cap in Quality mode ensures sharp 4K visuals, while Performance mode prioritizes smoother gameplay at 60 FPS, a common choice in modern AAA titles.

Ubisoft has now enriched the console gaming experience by introducing a 40 FPS mode through Title Update 3.2, accommodating players with screens unsupportive of 60 FPS but seeking an upgrade from 30 FPS. This new option strikes a balance between frame rate and resolution, enhancing the visual quality.

Apart from the frame rate enhancement, the 3.2 update for Frontiers of Pandora addresses several issues. It tackles minor bugs like controller mapping resets and game crashes, along with significant problems such as quest malfunctions in co-op and NPCs disappearing near the players' field of view. Additionally, a new fast travel point at Research Station Alpha facilitates easier navigation in the expansive game world.

The game's roadmap includes two story DLCs - The Sky Breaker and Secrets of the Spires. Fans can look forward to learning more about The Sky Breaker DLC at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event on June 10, slated for a Summer 2024 release. Meanwhile, the Secrets of the Spires DLC, scheduled for Fall 2024, promises further enriching adventures for players.
