An imminent boxing bout organized by Adin Ross, featuring Misfits Boxing's Deen the Great against Adam Selah, has been postponed due to legal threats from Misfits Boxing concerning the use of their fighter. Originally scheduled for March 16, the event has been indefinitely postponed as a result of the legal issues.
Adin Ross's Response to Fight Cancellation
Addressing the situation during a live TikTok stream, Ross clarified the necessity of canceling the boxing match, citing its unsanctioned nature. The legal threats surfaced during Ross's public appearance at UFC 299 when an individual confronted him about hosting an illegal fight. Ross candidly expressed, “It sucks, but I really have to say it how it is. I was supposed to do a boxing event, March 16, 2024. Last night, I was at UFC and I got approached by somebody. They basically said you do not run unsanctioned event.” While no new date has been set for the fight, Ross is actively exploring options to conduct sanctioned fights in the future.
Until sanctioned fights become a viable option, it seems that boxing matches will remain on hold for the controversial streamer.
